Filling a hole
This method for filling a hole works in both Wings 3D and Nendo.
Start with an object with an hole.
Select one edge and press the "l" key to select an edge loop.
Do an Extrude->Normal. Don't actually drag; press
the left mouse button immediately as we just want to create
two extra edges.
Press "f" to change to Face selection mode.
Dissolve the faces (in Wings, you can press the Backspace
key).
Deselecting the object and turning it around, we see that
the hole has been filled.
Wings note: In Wings, the extrude and change
to Face selection mode can be done in one step using the Bevel
command. (You lose the selection in Nendo when you bevel an
edge.) |
