WIP - Human Male T Pose - 3lackrose - 02-16-2017

Hello i'm new and inexperienced to 3d modeling and i started using Wings3d since 1.5.3 and just lately updated to 2.1.5 as i didn't realize the software got updated. I started this model from a plain cube since i wanted and needed to learn about 3d and to have my own custom asset to use on my game project. The first attempts were a disaster and it went through a lot of tweaking resizing etc etc etc, at first i used my mental memory images for size references but finally managed to put together a fairly convincing proportioned model using some images/photos as references. It took an embarassing huge amount of time to get to this point and i was looking for retopology before finalizing and getting into some texturing. Are questions about 3d modeling, workflow and tips allowed on this forums or should i bring that elsewhere more appropriated? Cheers.

You can use this thread in Gallery to discuss these things related to your project.
Doubts about Wings3D usage you can ask/search in Interface & Usage session. Anything else not related to Wings3D itself should be (preferentially) put under Off Topic session.

You can find something useful in this thread: CG Useful Tutorials (modelling, technics, tips, ...).
Most of them are general concepts that can be applied to any 3D application.
Also, under Interface & Usage session you will find two sicked posts that can be of your interest: Topology and Collection of Tutorials
