Selection Tool in 1.4.1 - desktopsimmer - 12-09-2012
I think I'm missing something simple here. Is there a way of change how the selection tool behaves? i.e. it behaves like how it used to work in 1.3.1 when vertice, edge and face were individually selected.

Turn on Conditional Deselection in the Preferences.
When this pref is set to true, one press of spacebar deselects and leaves you in the same selection mode, while a second tap puts you into multi-mode.
