UV Mapping - Ambrose007 - 09-05-2016 Can somebody point me to a good tut for uv mapping in wings3d. Right now I am exporting as obj files and mapping in uvmapper pro but the results are spotty depending on the obj. Thanks Ambrose RE: UV Mapping - Dimitri - 09-05-2016 Hello Ambrose! You can make a search for uv mapping in Wings, in Google. You will find some results there. Btw, let say that Wings' uv mapping is very good as to the simple structured objects, though in cases of complex objects its workings are slow somehow, so it is better to acquire an in depth knowledge of Uvmapper and use it in such tasks or preferring Blender's uv mapper. It depends of your work's kind. Learning Wings' uv mapping ways is very easy. It is good to know them and then decide as to which app it is most proper for your tasks. RE: UV Mapping - Ambrose007 - 09-05-2016 Thanks for the input, I am basically looking for a way to Unwrap and scale all my different material selection and The export each of them to a new map so I can minimize The stretching and make nice tight textures.
