Wings3D vs 3DS MAX or Blender3D - suntonlain - 09-18-2013
Because I was a time ago student, I can have 3DS MAX for students. His installation program has File Size: 4.15 GB
. OK after his installations, he has dozens applications. O.M.G. to much for me !Because I want to make 3d objects, scenes and characters, I tryed to use Blender3d. OMG, another so hard application for what i need.
Even in someplace on internet is writen that Wings3d is for children, i understand that he is for smart children who want to play with a secure application with certain effects. Well, for this I prefer to use Wings3d even that i have 3ds max, for students of course, and that application bushy called Blender3d.
In my opinion, Wings3d is a german like production, or like made in Jappan, or england made ...

For understanding computer graphics, i can use documents of 3ds max, where they talk about mesh, edge, vertex and so on.

Another thing for what I prefer Wings3d is becouse he can easy and correct export to VRML.
When I say VRML, I say easy 3d graphics, I say easy 3d servers, i say spending free time in a good way ...
Put together Wings3d and White_Dune ( http://vrml.cip.ica.uni-stuttgart.de/dune/ ) and you have an easy 3DS MAX for easy 3D games for all peoples. Go and get BS Contact VRML browser and his server BS Collaborate and you will have an easy and strong client-server for your easy 3D games.
On YouTube exist a few great videos with lessons ( tutorials) and anybody can learn to understend and use this neccesary tool called Wings3d.
