Pov-Ray Rendering - Stab In The Dark Software - 12-09-2012
I'm making this scene for a competition.
The theme is "Middle Earth". I was inspired by JRR Tolkien's original sketches of
"Bag End Hall". I think I am finally learning how to use all the pov-ray settings in Wings.
The view out the door is actually the view from the movie set in New Zealand.

Thanks for the encouragement. To get the image plane to stay bright and not have shadows
from the lights in the hall I discovered that you turn down the diffuse under finishes in the pov-ray settings of the material. I have not figured out how to make a good light for inside the light fixtures.

Great looking models. What are your plans for the future. As in, real life. A professional modeller?
The only reason I ask is because if you are planning on modelling professionally, there is a 100% chance that you will have to know how to UV map. Also, learning texturing will open so many more doors for you. Smile
