I got curious and clicked on the link... Unfortunately they are not meant to be free based on the note at the top of the page...

Quote:Adobe has disabled the activation server for CS2 products, including Acrobat 7, because of a technical issue. These products were released more than seven years ago, do not run on many modern operating systems, and are no longer supported.

Adobe strongly advises against running unsupported and outdated software. The serial numbers below should only be used by customers who legitimately purchased CS2 or Acrobat 7 and need to maintain their current use of these products

I don't know why a big company like Adobe with lots and lots of money wouldn't keep the activation server up for people who payed for that software. I guess times are hard for them as well... Sad

Curious indeed... I did read somewhere about their being free and go to the page where they were really downloadable... then, after some time, I did read in some forums that the related page has been left open due to a technical mistake of the company.

The whole incident makes someone think if it is really possible for such a company to make a so serious mistake and leave it stay there for so many days. But, anyway, if the case is so then let the forum moderators here erase my post.
