I started using Wings 3D yesterday and I was wondering if it is possible to move objects from one .wing extension to another. Is there any way I can do this?

Use the File->Export ... menu option for that - check the available formats here.

That's where Wings3d is MOST Usefull ... Exports DirectX (.x -you can build game assets for 3DRad ) Wavefront object (.obj) probably the most portable, Old .3ds and .md3 for older games ... list goes on and on. It will keep your Vertex order (handy for making Morphs for Daz Studio) ...
