Hello all!

I am sorry if this has been asked before, I coudn't find it.

I have followed this tutorial several times(To make sure I don't miss anything): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvK863FCX7Y However, I cannot complete any boolean operation. Because when I selected the objects to interact with, and proceed, it simply deletes both objects entirely.

If anyone could help me fix this, that would be nice. I'm using the latest version of the Manifold.

Greetings,

Rudovich

Are you using the same version as I used? [Wings 3D (x64) 2.0.1.2016-04-19---10-27.mlab]

If so, are you doing exact the same shape with the same characteristics (parameters)?
Because depending on the geometry you can have problems. ggaliens uses a 3rd part app to execute the boolean operation and sometimes it can crash. Here is one of his advises.

Maybe you could attach an image of both object before you start the boolean operation.

I have come from Moray world and Booleans are the primary necessity for very quick and complex building. They achieve mirroring in a global fashion. This achieves symmetry in a background fashion the the builder doesn't have to be concerned with.
