A constraint idea for the ‘connect’ tool…

Evidently, it is a matter of finding a given plane which will work as the constraint direction guide...

What about taking as a reference plane the virtual plane which exists between two selected neighboring edges of an object as is shown in the image below? You right click on the ‘connect’ tool for going to ‘connect’ mode… you select the two edges so that the constraint plane may be defined and you click on the vertice you want for beginning the connecting…

Of course, the first needed thing is having a simple scene plane constraints option (xy, zy, xz constraints) but this method here can work when we want to make a constraint towards a direction independent of the default scene planes.

Share your thoughts please… having a way of defining constraint directions when working with the 'connect' tool is very important... so, let focus on the matter...
