As for costs to buy new PCs. We want more money coming this direction. One thing I have found is that Wings is really good at generating organic forms. Small plants are easy. It might be possible to take it to doing large trees. The software to do that stuff costs a fortune. E-on want $1,495 for Plant Factory! I use TG2 (landscape generator) and I'm trying to convince people to build their own plants. I didn't plan to use Wings for this but one of the first things I came up with was this:

Ryan,
Beautiful model. Looks like something you might find in the ocean.

Wings has ways of dealing with organic forms that I didn't expect. I actually started using it to do achitectural forms. It's mainly due to the selection process so you can quickly move through procedures to build the forms in an organic way. That was rendered in Blender. I've discovered that Blender is pretty bad when it comes to dealing with hard edges though and this has come into play with some other things I'm working on. I don't like Blender for modeling. Wings and Modo works great though. I had a licence for Modo from ages back but Modo is now Linux. It will be released soon. Modo is pretty good but it has no intelligent selection like Wings.

Just one annoying problem I'm having with Wings since I'm kind of pushing it hard testing things. How do you kill it when it Crashes? Killing the PID has no effect.

Kill the Erlang console.
