Anyone running wings under VirtualBox ?

This question has been asked before, I'm sure. But time goes by. If there happened to be a WINGS3D or wxWidgets BUG affecting mouse performance ... I would pay a good bounty to have it fixed.

I cannot run wings3d 2.1.5 under VirtualBox with windows 7 guest. Wings3D object rotation and tumbling is out of control. It "FEELS" like the mouse polling is off somehow. Other programs like MESHLAB don't have the same behavior.

Try to disable 3d acceleration, if possible. Also install virtual box guest additions. I think this is a common issue with remote desktops and virtual machines with some 3d packages.

Just found something:

Enable absolute pointer option on System Settings at virtual box's machine options.

I managed some time ago to work with Lightwave's modeler (with the same issue), if I remember correctly, with this absolute pointer option.

The problem is that currently I don't have any virtual machine to test it. I will install one and test it.

Edit1: Tested, if you disable mouse integration (on the input menu when machine is running) wings camera will rotate ok. BUT I cannot see the mouse pointer on wings window. Can you see it?

I cannot find absolute pointer option on my virtualbox manager, maybe they changed this.

Still no a lot of luck here. I probably can do the development on the VirtualBox Guest.
