Hi all,
Just wondering if there is any plugin that allows meshes to be in parent/child relationships, and everything that implies, like local transforms?
I read in some other post that it was a planned feature in a long list of planned features, but that post is maybe 7 years old.
I'm currently using Wings to make segmented insectoid models that will be animated in Unity, but without hierarchy, the workflow is so awkward that I might have to install Blender just to go Wings > Blender > Unity.

I think you are talking about bones.
Someone has talked about take a look on this these days (no support for rigging) - which will require bones, so maybe that can come to life. Fingers crossed!

Yes I do mean bones, except in my case they aren't intended for rigging.
