Couldn't sleep so i sat down and modeled a new nose. I think it looks better than before and i don't have strange vertices that mess up everything.

Alright, did a little bit more work on the destroyer and i think the form of the model is complete.

And a quick size comparison of both models:

Edit: Had to change some things in order to fix a broken face in the bow of the destroyer. There is still one problem though: it seems circularizing edges leaves some sort of distortion on the sides. I've uploaded the model to p3d where you can see that there are several distortions on the bow right next to the big tubes and at the back of the ship on both sides of the middle engine. I don't know how to fix this,so if anyone has an idea or som advice on this, please let me know Smile

Whipped out a AAA Turret design ealier this day. Looks pretty clean,no twisted faces and vertices this time. Yay!

Edit: I take it all back. What the hell?

Edit 2: Fixed. Vertices,my eternal enemy -.-

I think that you just need to avoid to use ngons when you don't need:
[Image: th_Turret_zpsc5d78b5e.jpg]try to build quads faces always as possible and you probably will have less headache.
Take a look at some articles/tutorials about topology/subdivision. I organized the thread I have for 3d useful things and I've added two new links about that - link

Anyway, good job with the concept/models. Smile

Well,it is part of the design and i'm not sure if it really is an ngon. At least it doesnt like it to me.

well, seeing the screenshot it's ok, of course. Smile
It seems that "tessellation" was introduced by p3d. Sorry about that. Blush

Don't worry about it Wink

Just a quick question though: If i merge two files in wings, will i keep the original files and create a third one or are the original files lost and become one?

The file merged (2nd) stays as it is, but this "third" doesn't exists until you use "Save As". It's the 1st one plus the 2nd you have merged.

Alright, thank you for your answer Smile
I was a little worried i'd lose the other files if i save two merged files. That was rather silly of me if i think about it Tongue
