Have you tried the latest Snapshot release in the Development section of the forum? Snapshot Windows and Mac. The Mac version is a couple of posts after the Windows build. Maybe it works in that release???
executable path is "/Applications/povray37/PovRay 3.7 Unofficial.app/Contents/MacOS/PovRay 3.7 Unofficial"
Then... MegaPov(PovRay 3.7 Unofficial) boots, and some error dialogs popup and said
'The Document "+320" could not be opened. opend Pov Ray3.7 Unofficial cannot open files of this type'
Console log(all options are refuse by PovRay):
Quote: "/Applications/povray37/PovRay 3.7 Unofficial.app/Contents/MacOS/PovRay 3.7 Unofficial" treebox2_export.pov +W320 +H240 +FN +otreebox2.pngIt is possible to render on MegaPov.However,does not return the rendering image to Wings3D.
It takes effort to close the dialogs, but I have not bothered much

I think this is related to the specification of PovRay.
Afterward , I found information written about OSX in the Document of PovRay.
POV-Ray 3.6 Documentation
Quote:4.6 Command-Line Options
You cannot control POV-Ray for Mac OS directly via command-line options.
This means that if there need to seamlessly linkage with Wings3D( or other programs) and PovRay in Mac OS X, I would need to install PovRay version of Unix.
