Thanks OXO, after you tell that it was needed to change the view to Workmode I could see the problem. Information is everything! 
The problem is intermittent because it's related to the size of your object (the faces are very small). If you scale it four times you will see the problem goes away.
It will require an better evaluation about how to fix that without compromise other Wings3D features which uses the same portion of the code that is "causing" this behaviour. So, there is no fix by now.
