.wings file won't open

Double clicking any ".wings" file just opens Wings3D window and doesn't load file itself. You have to use "File -> Open..." dialog to load a project.
"Wings3D Log" window is not showing any additional or different information compared to just opening the program.

Wings3D 2.4.1
macOS 15.7.7
