A new release

Sounds good to me. I wasn't expecting a new release so soon...

In testing the 32bit version on 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium after a little bit in a file Wings3D disappears and erl.exe is still listed under processes in the task manager.

The wonderful thing about Wings3D is that you can run old and new versions without having to uninstall. Just install the new version for testing and you can still use the previous version...
