Magicavoxel is popular isnt it?![Biggrin Biggrin](https://www.wings3d.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.png)
The voxel-based free modeling softwares, other there is also such software.
Zoxel
http://zoxel.blogspot.com/
Zoxel is support many voxel formats.
(for example magicavoxel.vox, qubicle.qbcl, sproxel.csv etc....)
Sproxel
http://sproxel.blogspot.com/
This is nice software, I can cheked to correctly output in obj format. But it seems to have slowly the development.
*About compatibility of the exported obj data and Wings3D.![Sad Sad](https://www.wings3d.com/forum/images/smilies/sad.png)
The exported OBJ file by these voxel softwares,
it is contains see one object, but it isn't one object.
In actually these are organized by many separate polygon objects.
So,If you are also trying to Extrude it, it does not produce good results.
I tried export test to four voxel softwares, using three software the same trouble happen.
Only sproxel was made good obj data export.
Recreate the process
If you are interested, it is a good idea to make a plug-in to read the file of voxel format Wings3D.

Recreate the process
- 1. Save create a single cube voxel
- 2. Saved in obj format
- 3. Import the obj file by Wings3D( or other 3D software)
- 4. On Wings3D,Apply the object to body "Separate"command and Move to one of the faces.
- 5. The surface is inappropriate for modeling in pieces
If you are interested, it is a good idea to make a plug-in to read the file of voxel format Wings3D.
