Hi. Im searching for method how to put some text (as seen below) around cylinder (or ring in my example). I can do this by hand, letter by letter, but this is too much time consuming and hard to set proper length.

What I should know and where to start with this ??

hmm.... I would do it using the Bend command, in vertex mode.
Be sure to check the info line at the bottom, if you're not familiar with this command. Or check some video on the youtube wings channel.

VladD is right and you also will need to use the boolean plugin by ggaliens - the was a recent question about that, searches the forum for boolean.

No, it's for dig the text on the ring surface - that is the usual, but not your case as we can see now.

Without ggaliens boolean operators and micheus help I never be able to finish this:
