Hello, I am a beginner, I want to assign different materials to each side of a cube, so I can export .dae and import into Second Life so I can apply textures there. I have tried this and it does not give me 6 seperate sides to apply texture to in Second Life. It does perfect brick texture to top and bottom only, and all the 4 sides show a stretched texture.
Two friends each made me a dae file to try and their cubes worked fine, but they are not using Wings to create.
I am looking for step by step instruction how to do this, if anybody has this experience. I was told by a Blender user I had to unwrap my cube, I tried AutoUV and still failed. Any help greatly appreciated.
The picture is a screenshot from Second Life after applying textures.
