Hi there,
W3D 2.1.7
Steps:
1. add any object
2. change mode to wire (W)
3. go to Sculpt
4. Start sculpting (just few clicks is enough)
5. turn off wire mode (W)
Can't get original shading - object is permanently in wire mode.
If you start sculpting in normal mode then it's OK.
