Hi all,
here is an odd problem I am having and it seems a tough nut to crack. Maybe one of you knows what is going on.
This video shows the behavior: http://youtu.be/z3-qQ8Fzu3M
Let me know if you want a Dropbox link to the full quality file.
For comparison, here is the same mouse and motion on a Win 7 PC: http://youtu.be/lNQp7RggqUY
I am running Wings3d on a Dell 5130 Venue 11 tablet (touchscreen). Here are the specs:
OS: Windows 8.1, Processor: Intel Atom CPU Z3770 @ 1.46GHz, RAM: 2.00 GB, System type: 32-bit OS, x64 based processor
Here is what I have tried so far. None of those measures have made any difference in the behavior:
- Used different mice, including another USB one and a bluetooth one.
- Tried much older version of Wings3D (1.2.rc3)
- Ran Wings3D in different compatibility modes back to Windows XP
- Switched off hardware acceleration: I looked in Wings3D at 'Help > OpenGL info' and it showed 'Vendor: Intel'. I went into 'Device manager > Display adapters > Intel HD Graphics > Driver > Disable' and after that it showed 'Vendor: Microsoft cooperation'.
I also looked at Meshlab on the same tabled since it also uses OpenGL. In Meshlab the rotation works perfectly.
I am out of ideas here. Any help greatly appreciated!
